Services for Bessie Nell Pierce, 80 of Winnsboro will be at 11:00AM Monday, October 16, 2017 at the New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Kelly Wayne Clark and Bruce Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home-Winnsboro.
Nell was born on June 2, 1937 in Delhi, LA and passed from this Life on October 11, 2017 in Delhi, LA.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She loved to play cards and was hard to fool, loved shelling butter beans and cooking, and loved her family and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by parents-Ernest and Lula Beaube Wallace; her husband-Artis Lee (Doodle) Pierce, three brothers-Alvin, Earnest, Jr, and Frank Wallace.
She is survived by her children-Carolyn Crafts of Winnsboro, Patricia Pearce and husband Buddy of Winnsboro, Kenneth Pierce and wife Jackie of Crowville, Vicky McCaa and husband Pete of Baskin, and Cynthia Halterman of Winnsboro; six grandchildren-Kiley Killingsworth, Adam Pierce, Diana Davis, Artie Pearce, Sarah Halterman, and Wilton Halterman; ten great grandchildren-Kimberly Davis, Emylee Davis, Brooklyn Davis, Ethan Davis, Dylan Killingsworth, Peyton Killingsworth, Eric Pearce, Evan Pearce, Ethan Pearce, and Austin Michael Halterman; four brothers-Carl Wallace, Alton Wallace both of Delhi, Samuel Wallace of Gilbert, and Jerry Wallace of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister-Dee Kelley of Delhi; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Joe Wallace, Delmar Kirkham, Marty Wallace, Boddie Humphries, Adam Pierce, Artie Pearce, and Isam Davis.
Visitation will be 6:00 till 9:00PM October 15, 2017 at the New Hope Baptist Church.
