Bessie Lee Wheeler Kelley

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bessie Lee Wheeler Kelley, 82, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 5, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Dan Shapley and Rev. David Womack officiating. Interment will be in Sardis Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Kelley was born October 11, 1934, and passed away October 2, 2017. She was a member of Walnut Grove Southern Methodist Church. Mrs. Kelley loved God first, her family and her church. She loved missions, camp ministry, cooking for people and serving people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Onie Mae Wheeler; her brothers, Grady Wheeler and Gerald Wheeler; and her sister, Iver Mae Robert.

Left to cherish her memory are her sweet husband of 65 years, Floyd Leo “Pete” Kelley; her children, Michael Leon Kelley (Margaret), Sherry Lyn Kelley Felkel (Richard), Kevin Leo Kelley (Darlene), and Deborah Lynette Kelley Womack (David); one brother, Bearl Wheeler; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Robert, Bill Kelley, Eldred Robert, Junior “Grady” Wheeler, Glenn Ray Wheeler and Gary Thomas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
