Bessie was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a member of the Assembly Church in West Monroe. If there was a road trip or a dress up party, she was ready and willing to go from Las Vegas to Florida or to Baton Rouge for Mardi Gras, she kept her bags packed along with her lipstick. She never turned anyone away from a meal and one of her greatest joys and love was spending time with her family. Bessie was the mother of three but had hundreds of adopted children. Bessie is not gone, she is just on the other side of the window.
Pallbearers will be David “Dabo” Graves, Marty Pruden, Dennis “Tiger” Pruden, David Mooney, Mark Craft, and Chance Batten.
