Funeral Services for Mrs. Bessie Patterson Albritton, 97, of West Monroe, LA will be 5:00 P. M. Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Feazel Chapel of First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Fenn and Rev. Trey Albritton officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery.
Mrs. Albritton was born on April 13, 1910 and passed away on August 23, 2007 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Albritton was a member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe and Tennison Sunday School Class. She was in the Top of the Morning Bowling League and for many years enjoyed the Ouachita River on the “Queen Bee” houseboat.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde E. Albritton, Sr., and parents James Yancy Patterson & Mollie Cornelia Hammons Patterson and seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Clyde E. Albritton, Jr. and wife Sue of Calhoun, LA and Bobby M. Albritton and wife Betty of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Bonnie A. Hance and husband Bill of Monroe, LA, twelve grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Neil Albritton, Steve Albritton, Stan Passman, Ben Lyons, Robby Compton, and Jeremy Albritton.
Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, August 24, 2007 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
Memorial may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children Home.
