Services for Ben E. Baker, 83 of Oak Ridge will be 3:00PM Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Episcopal Church Cemetery in Oak Ridge under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville. Mr. Baker passed from this life on June 26, 2016 in Monroe. He was a member and deacon of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Mason in the Brookville Lodge in Oak Ridge, Barak Shriner, Eastern Star, and Yorkrite. He enjoyed being with the Morehouse Parish Sheriff Department and helping others in the community.He is preceded in death by his parents-Horace Alford and Gladys Reese Baker; four brothers; and one sister.He is survived by his wife of 59 years-Joyce Browning Baker of Oak Ridge; two sons-Ben E.
