Memorial services for Barbara Ann Deal Watson, 85, of Monroe, LA, will be held at a later date.

Barbara was born on October 6, 1937, in Lake Providence, LA, and passed away on May 29, 2023, in Monroe, LA. She was a teacher in the Ouachita Parish School System for many years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William C. Deal and Minnie Magee Deal; and brothers, William C. Deal, Jr. and Roger W. Deal.

Survivors include her son, Douglas G. Watson; siblings, Merrie D. Rachal, David L. Deal, Ronald T. Deal, Sandra D. Miller, Mona D. Smith, and Lynn M. Deal, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Azalea Estates Memory Care Unit and staff as well as Elara Hospice for taking care of Mrs. Barbara.
