Barbara Shoaf Sain born on August 28, 1943, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2017. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, Richard (Rick) Sain, and three children, Richard Lee Sain, Jr., Angie Sain Lofton (Mickey) and Curtis Lee Sain (Keisha); six beautiful Grandchildren: Cathy Sain Nugent (Lee), Bailey McGuire Sain, Beaux Lofton, Katye Jean Sain, Dalton Sain, and Patrick Brocato; brother, Gary Shoaf (Susan); two Aunts, Pat Baskin and Kay Shafer. She has two young men she called her son’s: Darren Ford and Freddie Bloomfield, five bonus children, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tom Atkins, Eddie Chandler, Herb Felter, Steve Hopper, Terry Stockton, and Tom Whatley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her Grandson’s: Bailey, Beaux, Dalton, and Patrick
She was a devoted member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church for 45 years, where she held every position except preacher and secretary. She retired from the State of Louisiana, where she worked as a Social Worker for 38 years.
Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Monroe, LA
Funeral services celebrating Barbara’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 28, 2017 at Christ Church in West Monroe, LA with Reverend Ken Bowman, Reverend Robert Burgess and Reverend William Willis officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA
