Barbara Faye Bratton

Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Faye Bratton, 83, of Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA, with Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Bratton was born January 30, 1938, and passed away on August 8, 2021. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bratton worked for over 40+ years in the insurance industry as a claims secretary, retiring from Huey Littleton claims. She enjoyed cooking, reading and watching movies.

She is preceded in death by parents, George and Lucille Sumrall; husband, Grady E. Bratton; and two brothers, George Sumrall, Jr and Archie Sumrall.

Survivors include her son, Michael Bratton (Janine); sister, Sue Wilhite; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.
