Audrey Jeanette Watts

Funeral Services for Mrs. Audrey Jeanette Watts, 85, of Cedar Hill, TX, formerly of Monroe, will be held 1:00PM Friday, March 13, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Watts was born February 21, 1935, in Union, Mississippi and passed away Friday, March 6, 2020, at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She was a tutor with Ouachita Parish School Board and a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. She grew up in Hattiesburg, MS and attended Williams Carey University. Audrey married the love of her life Donald Watts on December 23, 1955. They were married for 58 years until his death in 2013. She loved her career at OPSB and working with the children for over 30 years. Her passions were her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Butts; mother, Aileen Butts; sisters, Patricia Carter and Marie Bryant; and husband, Donald Watts.

Survivors include son, Donny Watts (Julie); daughters, Kimberly Rodgers (Greg), Susan Ryan (Rod), Nancy Watts, and Stacie Meeker; grandsons, Justin Rodgers (Liz) James Ryan, Trent Watts, and Reid Watts; granddaughters, Leah McMillan (Chase) and Rachel Heckford (Jacob); Great- granddaughters, Audrey McMillan and Ava Heckford.

Pallbearers will be Justin Rodgers, James Ryan, Trent Watts, Reid Watts, Jacob Heckford, and Chase McMillan.
