Arthur "Buck" Buckelew

Funeral Services for Mr. Arthur “Buck” Buckelew, 91, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Bro. Billy Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Tuesday.

Mr. Buckelew was born February 28, 1931 and passed away March 9, 2022. He was a member of Immanuel Worship and Fellowship. Buck retired from the United States Army as a First Sergeant after 26½ years of service. He honorably served during the Vietnam War and the Korean War. Aside from his family, Buck’s greatest devotion was to the military and serving his country.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Winnie Buckelew; and two children, Ladette Morris and Teb Riddle.

Survivors include his wife, Nita Buckelew; children, Art Buckelew, Jr. and wife Reba, Steve Buckelew and wife Sonya, Robbie D. Cole, and Marclin Shane Riddle; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
