Funeral Services for Arnold Ray Mann, Sr., 86, of Columbia, LA, will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, September 12, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Brian Rankin and Rev. Gerry Courtney officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Columbia, LA.
Arnold was born on December 4, 1933 in Columbia, LA and passed away on September 10, 2020, in West Monroe, LA. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Arnold was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and was a Mason for over 50 years. He enjoyed duck hunting with his son and grandchildren, and squirrel hunting with his dogs. Arnold enjoyed riding his grandchildren on the four-wheeler. He loved to travel, while living in Montana he enjoyed snowmobiling which was always a subject he talked about with friends and family along with his adventures with his lifelong friend, James Page. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Audie Mann; son, Arnold Ray Mann, Jr. (Zimmerman); daughter, Tammy Mann Smith; and brothers, Willie Vern Mann and Harvey Mann.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mann; son, Stephen Mann and wife, Pam; daughter, Tanya Mann Crain and husband, Paul; special family member, Joyce Edmondson; children he raised as his own, Eileen, Elaine, Eddie, and Evan; brother, Donnie Mann; sister, Sue Trautman; grandchildren, David Mann, Amy Idom, Tina Owens, Daniel Moore, Sarah Otwell, Matthew Edmonds, Brittany Reed, Clayton Crain and Brody Crain; 13 great-grandchildren, Thomas, Phalyn, Lillian, Connor, Joel, Jace, Rhett, Serenity, Remington, Collen, Rylie, Bexlie and Karmen; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be David Mann, Daniel Moore, Johnathon Welch, Clayton Crain, Matthew Edmonds and Kyle Lowery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Ray Page, Steve Millien, Dale Page, Tyler Idom, Dakota Reed and Jesse Owens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until service time on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
