Arcola “A. B.” Lashley

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. A. B. Lashley, 85, of Winnsboro, LA, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Crockett Point Baptist Church in Winnsboro with Rev. Richie Kelly and Mr. Ricky Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Crockett Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Winnsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Mr. Lashley was born November 9, 1939, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2025. He was a farmer by trade. Mr. Lashley enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, attending auctions, but more importantly mission work spreading the Gospel in Mexico and Honduras.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard Lashley and Pearlie Mae Donaldson Lashley; wife, Lena Lashley; son-in-law, Lee Matthew Short; and his brother, Joe Lashley.

He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Arcola Lashley Jr. and wife Cindy, two daughters; Sherry Davis and husband Wayne, and Renae Short, four grandchildren, Dusty Lashley and wife Trinia, Kala Graves and husband Bobby, Amanda Lashley, and Cameron Davis, four great-grandchildren, Riley Lashley, Sawyer Lashley, Emalyn Kramer and Grayson Lashley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Cameron Davis, Brian Lochbrunner, Jimmy Walters, Russell Caldwell, and Don Williams. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dusty Lashley.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2025, at Crockett Point Baptist Church in Crowville.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation of Winnsboro; especially Sherry Wall, Linda McClendon, and Lori Bachelor for their extra care for Mr. Lashley.
