Archie "Bud" Hatten

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Archie “Bud” Hatten, 87, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 10, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Clyde Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Mr. Hatten was born on September 7, 1935, in Sikes, LA, and passed away on July 7, 2023, in Stonewall, LA.  He was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved to talk and tell stories, work in his garden, and especially loved running his dogs.  Mr. Hatten loved to stay busy, some would say he was a workaholic. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Yancey and Bernice Hatten; wife, Nellie Hatten; daughter-in-law, Marcia Robinson Hatten; and 5 sisters.

Survivors include his children, Deborah Springs and Randall Hatten; grandchildren, Chad Hatten, Katie Moreau, Mark Hatten, Kristi Boucher, and Josh Bowie; brother-in-law, Joe Jacobs; along with a host of great grandchildren and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Chad Hatten, Mark Hatten, Tommy Price, Paul Gates, Benny Gewin, John Bowie, and Wayne Scott.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until Service Time on Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
