Archibald L. Harben, Jr.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Archibald L. Harben, Jr., 89, of Monroe, LA, will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Larry Linson and Rev. Charles Headrick officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Harben was born June 10, 1934 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 18, 2024. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Harben retired after 22 years of service from the United States Air Force. He was meticulous about his yard work. Mr. Harben enjoyed reading. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Archibald L. Harben, Sr. and Thomasine Ballantine Harben; and his sister, Marjorie.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 44 years, Peggy Hinton Harben; two sons, Archibald L. Harben, III and wife Penni and Scott Harben and wife Julie; brother, Geoff Harben; five grandchildren Trent and wife Mandy, Clarke and wife Selina, Kyle, Connor and Kyra. Six great grandchildren Kyson, Luka, Haven, Andrew, Nora and Brooks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nolan, David Beezley, and Sig Gorman.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
