Anthony M. Danna

Funeral services for Anthony M. Danna, 98, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the chapel of St. Joseph’s Nursing Home with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Reception to follow at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Mr. Danna passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Christus St. Joseph’s Assisted Living. He was a designer and manufacturer of custom fishing lures. Mr. Danna was a U. S. Army veteran serving during WWII as a paratrooper. He received a Master’s Degree from the Chicago Art Institute.

Mr. Danna was preceded in death by his sisters, Rose Danna Bartlett and Sister Maria Danna; and brothers, Joe and Sam Danna.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday at 6:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home with a Rosary to follow.

Memorials may be made to Renewal Center of Northeast Louisiana.
