Annie Mae Williamson

October 4, 1930 — December 6, 2016

Annie Mae Williamson of Eros, LA, was born on October 4, 1930 in Rayville. She entered Heaven’s Gate and was reunited with her husband of 55 years, Ray, on December 6, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Pastor Jeffrey Kent officiating with the eulogy delivered by Ryan Williamson. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Interment will be held immediately following the services at Clark Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

A natural mother, care giver and homemaker, Ann put everyone else’s needs above her own. No one could beat Nana’s cooking and she thoroughly enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She was a huge animal lover. Dogs, cats, goats, rabbits, birds…she had a soft spot for all. She loved working in her garden and spent most every evening happily watering her prized possessions. Annie was polite, poised, and classy, but wasn’t afraid to speak her mind to anyone who treated others badly or just didn’t have the best of intentions.

Ann retired in 1986, after over 30 years in retail sales, to better spoil her grandchildren. She was a ladies fashion sales associate at The Palace, Selber Brothers, The Carriage Corner, and Wellans who established a loyal clientele base over the years.

Annie is survived by her daughter, Belinda Beckley and husband Billy of West Monroe; and sons, Dale Williamson and wife Debra of Flower Mound, Texas, and Kelly Williamson and wife Cathy of Highland Village, Texas. Left to cherish Nana’s memories are the lights of her life, her granddaughter, Tara Fecher of The Colony, Texas; her grandsons, Ryan Williamson and wife Brenna of Keller, Texas and Tristan Williamson of Highland Village, Texas; and her two great granddaughters, her namesake Annabel Nola and Layla Grace Williamson of Keller, Texas. Ann is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Parker of West Monroe, and Jean Baker, Dorothy O’Neal, and Helen Moore of Rayville.

Honoring Annie as pallbearers will be Ryan Williamson, Tristan Williamson, Billy Beckley, Jay Traylor, Jeremy Kent, Sid Kilcrease, Gary Stamper and Mike Swinea.

The family gives their greatest gratitude to Dr. Jaya Kuseledass and the 4th floor nursing staff at Flower Mound Presbyterian Hospital for their compassionate care of Annie during her final days.

Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
