Mrs. Warlick died January 13, 2022 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Warlick was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church and was a retired realtor. Her hobbies included enjoying time with her lady friends at McKeen Place, cooking, spending time with her family and telling stories. Mrs. Warlick had a story for every occasion and loved grabbing the attention of her listeners with her hilarious wit, dramatic scene-setting, and nonfiltered delivery. She loved to hear herself talk as much as her family loved listening. Annette knew that the secret to putting a smile on your face was a funny story, a giant homemade meatball, and an iced Italian cookie, and she never failed to show up. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews wholeheartedly, and they were her world. Mrs. Warlick truly one-of-a-kind, a bright light in this world, and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her adored husband of 65 years, Mr. Anderson C. (A.C) Warlick, who had spoiled her since the day they met; her son, Richard Dennis Warlick; 3 siblings; and great granddaughters, Stephanie Fortenberry and Arielle Nichol Fortenberry.
Survivors: her daughters, Dianne W. Fortenberry and Debra W. Shelton and husband, Tom; Sons, A. C. Warlick and John D. Warlick and wife, Laurie; Brother, Joe LaCara; 8 Grandchildren, Keith Wayne Fortenberry, Dennis Lemoine and wife Debbie, Dwight Fortenberry and wife, Christie, Dana Zuber and husband, Danny, Amber Plummer and husband, Mike, Erika Johnson and husband, Adam, Jenna Graham and husband, Jeremy, and Jonathan Warlick and wife, Whitney; 19 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
