Funeral Services for Mrs. Ann Walvoord Graff, 77, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 30, 2021, with Rev. George Wortham officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
Ann Walvoord Graff was born July 14, 1943, in Dallas, TX and passed away April 26, 2021, at her home in West Monroe, LA, surrounded by her family.
Ann grew up in Grand Isle, LA, and in 1961, she graduated from Golden Meadow High School. In 1964, she then graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology. While at LSU, Ann was a member of Tri Delta Sorority, and participated in many campus organizations, including a synchronized swim team. Ann loved to travel. She lived in Singapore for several years and had the opportunity to travel to Canada, New York, Italy, and the Netherlands just to name a few. Ultimately, she made her home in West Monroe, where she had lived for the last 35 years. She was employed with EA Conway Hospital for 18 years, where she worked in the Microbiology Lab. Ann was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church, where she was an active member of the session committee, and other committees within the church and was the pianist there for many years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of various genealogical associations. Her hobbies included genealogy, scrapbooking, reading and family events.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Garrett Walvoord and Zora Lucile Morgan Walvoord; her husband, William “Bill” Morris Graff, Jr.; and brother, William “Billy” Garrett Walvoord.
Survivors include her son, Thomas William Graff and wife Janna Daniel Graff and their sons, Spencer Thomas Graff, Wesley William Graff, and Landon James Graff; her son, Bryan James Graff and fiancée Julie Coffee; brother, James “Jimmy” Morgan Walvoord and wife Sara Soderberg Walvoord; sister-in-law, Cathy Tucker Walvoord; nephews, John Walvoord and wife Teresa, Garrett Walvoord and wife Ashley, and Morgan Walvoord and wife Michelle; niece, Kristy Walvoord Franta and husband Kevin; great nieces and great nephew, Zara Franta, Elena Franta, DeLis Walvoord, Karola Walvoord, and Kruse Walvoord; sister-in-law, Janice Graff Brown and husband Felix; and also her beloved dog, Boudreaux.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Graff, Wesley Graff, Landon Graff, John Walvoord, Morgan Walvoord, Garrett Walvoord. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nelson Daniel, Jesse Hanchey, Felix Brown, and Chuck Cambre.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
