Ann Greene

A celebration of life service will be held for Ann Greene, 76, of West Monroe, LA, at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 13, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Michael Wood officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday.

Mrs. Ann was born on February 21, 1944, in Alexandria, LA and passed away on September 9, 2020, in Monroe, LA.

Ann attended Christ Church in West Monroe, LA. She owned Blinds and Design for over 20 years where she loved helping customers decorate their homes. Many of these customers became lifelong friends. She loved spending time with her family, her dog, Bella, and working in her yard. Ann had a gift for making people laugh and was always the life of the party. One of her favorite things to do was visiting with family and friends while enjoying a glass of wine. She also enjoyed shopping, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

Mrs. Ann is survived by her husband of 35 years, Phil Greene; daughter, Kim Roach and husband, David; son, Dr. Scotty Hicks and wife, Lisa; brothers, Danny Ferguson and wife, Pat, David Ferguson and wife, Cindy, and George Ferguson; grandchildren, Whitney Voss and husband, Zach, Lauren Hampton, Conner Hicks, and Courtney Hicks and her fiancé, Kenneth Carpenter.

Memorials in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Ouachita Parish Humane Society.
