Ann Geraldine Hancock

Funeral services for Ann Geraldine Hancock, 86, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Danny Chance officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hancock was born September 10, 1931, in Shreveport, LA, and passed away Monday, November 6, 2017, at St. Francis Medical Center. In her younger years, she enjoyed being a housewife and later on a nurse. Her family and the memories made were her everything. She was known as “Granny” and was a very special woman. Mrs. Hancock enjoyed her last moments with her great grandson, Brodie.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Lester Hancock; children: sons, James Hancock and Jerry Hancock; daughter, Ronda Allen and husband Walter; grandchildren, Aaron Hancock, James Allen, Edward Allen and wife Amanda, Sage Morris and husband Josh; a host of great grandchildren; brother, Richard Lane Witherington; and niece, Sarah Witherington.

Pallbearers will be Josh Morris, Bob Morris, Alan Ray Hancock, Ronnie Bryant, and Daniel Bryant.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
