Anita Welch Roscoe

Funeral Services for Anita Welch Roscoe, 89, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 23, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum on Hwy 80 East, Monroe, LA, with Dr. Greg Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday.

Anita was born August 1, 1933, to the late Spurgeon and Zula Henry Welch in Fairbanks, LA. She passed away on July 21, 2023, after a long battle with dementia. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Calhoun, LA.

Anita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn B. Roscoe Sr.; brothers, Rufus Welch, Charlie Welch, and Spurgeon Welch Jr.; and sister, Mary Weston.

She is survived by her son, Glenn (Kathy) Roscoe Jr.; daughter, Karen (Jim) Graham; grandchildren, Bobby (Niki) Graham, James (Randa) Soules, Lori Graham, Lauren (Chase) Brown, and Jennifer and Ashley Yeager; sister, Earlene Jones; brother-in-law, Benny (Mildred) Roscoe; and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Rosemont Assisted Living in West Monroe, LA, and Elara Caring Hospice Care for the care they gave our loved one.
