Services for Anita “Dia” Solomon, 63 of Rayville will be 2:00PM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Vogt officiating. Burial will be in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
Dia was born on December 5, 1952 in Rayville and passed from this life on September 25, 2016 in Deville. She loved reading books, watching scary movies, fishing, spending time with her dogs, going out for Mexican food, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents-Aubrey and George Ann McGee Solomon.
She is survived by two daughters-Jessie Smith and boyfriend David Barrilleax of Deville, LA and Charli Brown and fiancé Neill Brown of Nashville, TN; two sisters-Ava Mazzanti and husband Tony of Epps and Lisa Giacchetti and husband Richard of San Jose, CA; one brother-George Solomon and wife Alice of Boston, MA; two grandchildren-Carter Smith and Jake Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
