Funeral Services for Mr. Angelo Thomas Danna, 87, of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00PM Friday, July 3, 2020, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Paul Thunduparampil officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery Mausoleum in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until 2:00PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Danna was born March 14, 1933, in West Monroe, LA and passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Monroe, LA. Mr. Danna was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a cryptographer. Angelo was an outdoorsman in every way, he enjoyed fast pitch softball in his younger days, he loved hunting and fishing with his family, and had an outdoor fishing show known as, Southern Angler.
Mr. Danna is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Danna; son, Paul Thomas Danna; and eight siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances J. Danna; daughter, Denise McIntosh and husband Charles Alexander III; five grandchildren, Charles Alexander McIntosh IV, Thomas Anthony McIntosh and wife Kylie, Nicholas Andrew McIntosh, Kelsey Rae Danna, and Emily Janine Danna; great grandchild, Luke McIntosh; and brother, Johnny Danna.
Pallbearers will be Charles Alexander McIntosh IV, Thomas Anthony McIntosh, Nicholas Andrew McIntosh, Cody Guinn, and Justin Ferguson.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks for the care given to Mr. Angelo during the last year he spent at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home.
