Angela Marie Scurria Workman

A funeral mass to celebrate the life of Angela Marie Scurria Workman, 54, of Van Buren, AR, formerly of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 3, 2018, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Paul Thunduparampil officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Angela was born November 10, 1964, and passed away at her home in Van Buren, AR, on November 11, 2018. She graduated from Tallulah Academy and attended University of Louisiana in Monroe, LA.
She was employed in sales/marketing at shopping malls in Monroe, LA, Little Rock, AR, and in Fort Smith, AR, where she met her husband, Keith Workman, and became a housewife. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing the piano, and crocheting. By far the most enjoyable was her love of nature, watching the deer, birds, and other wildlife in her yard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam J. and Marietta Lombardo Scurria; and two brothers, Joseph M. Scurria and Sam J. Scurria, Jr.
Survivors: husband of 21 years, Keith Workman; sister, Nancy C. Scurria of Monroe, LA; brothers, Andrew T. Scurria of Monroe, LA, Edward Scurria of Tallulah, LA, Gerald F. Scurria and wife Susan of Springfield, MO, and John T. Scurria and wife Krista of Prairieville, LA; nephew, Joshua; and niece, Anna Rose both of Prairieville, LA.
