Graveside Service for Mr. Andy Pierce Dyke, 79, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 1, 2021, at St. Paschal Catholic Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, with Fr. Frank Coens officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 12:15 P.M. until service time on Friday at the cemetery.
Mr. Dyke was born October 2, 1941 and passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness.
He was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church. Andy honorably served in the United States Marine Corp from 1960 to 1964. He was a devout LSU fan and loved WMHS football. Andy had a true heart of gold and was a patient, kind, gentle, loving, compassionate husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He adored his wife, family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Andy and Bertha Mae Harris Dyke; brothers, James Edward Dyke, Jearl Dyke, Charlie Dyke, and Jimmy Dyke; and sisters, Ella Jean Dyke and Claudean Dyke.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Dyke; daughter, Angela Marie Morse and husband Bill; two sons, Andrew Paul Dyke and wife Anne, and Jeffrey Allen Dyke; grandchildren, Andrew Dyke, Gabrielle Hasamear (Brad), Noelle Stoddard (Warren), Timothy Dyke, Jack Dyke, Katherine Dyke, Mary Claire Dyke, Cole Dyke, Nicholas Dyke, and Alex Dyke; great grandchildren, Ariadne Hasamear and Meredith Hasamear; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Dyke, Timothy Dyke, Jack Dyke, Cole Dyke, Nicholas Dyke, and Alex Dyke.
