Andrew Logan Camp

Memorial graveside services for Andrew “Logan” Camp will be held on Saturday October 14, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, 115 Liberty Church Road in Calhoun, LA.  Following the graveside, visitation with family and friends will be in the church until 2:00 P.M.

Logan was born in Batesville, Arkansas, on July 16, 1996, and passed away in West Monroe, Louisiana, on October 2, 2023. He grew up in Ville Platte, Louisiana, before moving to West Monroe, Louisiana, at the age of 19, where he became close to his cousins and was adopted by his “other mother” and “other sisters”.

Logan was a true country boy at heart. He loved his four-wheel drive truck, hunting, and fishing. More than anything though he loved his four-legged friend, Deuce. Logan never missed an opportunity to tailgate at LSU football games.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Al and Caroline Camp; and his maternal grandfathers, James Allen and Irvy Cumpton.

Logan Is survived by his father, Lonnie Camp and his “other “mom Barbara Howard of West Monroe, Louisiana; mother, Kim Smart and husband, Bobby of Batesville, Arkansas; sister, Georgia Camp of Batesville, Arkansas and three “other” sisters, Mallorie Masters Jones, RaeAnn Masters, and Harli Howard-Watson; maternal grandmother, Barbara Sue Allen; uncles, Brad Camp, Ronnie Camp, Jason Camp and wife Angelika Camp, And Allan Camp; cousins, Josh Camp, Callie Camp, Caitlin ‘Caitie” Camp, Levi Camp, Tyler Camp and Hailey Camp.

Logan’s family request that you wear blue jeans and T shirts as Logan was not one for dressing up.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the Louisiana Chapter of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as AFSP.org or the Louisiana Chapter of NAMI.
