Amanda was a dedicated wife and mother, born on February 28, 1977, and passed away September 10, 2021, after enduring a five week long battle with COVID and complications from it. She was surrounded by her husband and loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Chemistry. She worked for the pharmacy at both St. Francis and North Monroe hospitals. She was an administrative manager for the Office of Behavioral Health for many years before becoming a Senior Finance Analyst for Lumen Technologies.
Amanda loved to spend time with her husband and sons, cook and travel. An amazing mother to her boys, she was extremely giving and very active in their schools and activities. Amanda always went above and beyond for her children and her love for them was immense. Family was everything to her. She was a beautiful singer and shared her love for music with others as a Catholic liturgical music minister. Amanda was always smiling, had a joyous laugh, and was a constant light in the lives she touched. She was steadfast in her devotion to the Lord and undoubtedly her soul is resting with Jesus in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Cromwell; and her grandmothers’ Willie May White and Ruby Cromwell.
