Alvin Agee Skipper

Funeral Services for Mr. Alvin Agee Skipper, 97, of West Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 19, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Skipper was born January 8, 1921 and passed away on July 16, 2018. He served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1946. Mr. Skipper retired from W B Sanders General Construction. He was member of the West Monroe Masonic Lodge # 419, the Scottish Rites, and the Barak Shrine Temple for over 50 years. He was a caller for the Cross-Trailers Square Dance Club for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Leona Jordan Skipper; as well as his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 76 years, Margie Reese Skipper; daughter, Rebecca Skipper; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
