Graveside services for Mr. Alva Gail Harkins, 94, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday at St. Paschal Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Frank Coens officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
Mr. Harkins died January 26, 2021 at Landmark Nursing and Rehab Home, after lengthy illness.
Mr. Harkins was a member of St. Paschal Catholic Church in West Monroe. He was a United States Naval Veteran. He retired as a manager at Friendly Finance Company in Monroe, LA
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris and son, Jerry.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Marilyn Harkins; Daughter-in-law, Carla Harkins;
Grandsons, Shannon Harkins and his wife, Tanya and Ethan Harkins; two sisters-in-law, Ethel Pinton and Judy Stone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
