Memorial Services for Alton “Mr. Al” Pipkin, 62, of Rayville, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA with Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating.
Mr. Pipkin was born on August 25, 1946 in Oak Grove, LA and passed away on March 22, 2009 at the Rayville Rehab and Nurse Care Center. He was a Specialist 4 with the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. Mr. Al was a truck driver along with many other job titles. Mr. Pipkin enjoyed fishing, frog hunting and spending time with his friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. Mr. Pipkin is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Hulet and Eunice Irene Pipkin.
Survivors include his two daughters, Sharron Hollis and Lisa Nealy both of West Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Autumn Alaynah Witten of West Monroe, LA and sisters, Jesse Irene Hendrix and husband LaVelle and Bertha Jerome Morse; special friend, Linda Briley and many close friends in Rayville, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until Service Time at Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
Dad will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
