Alton Ray Hardwick, Sr.

A memorial service for Mr. Alton Ray Hardwick, Sr., 80, of Ouachita Parish, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Frank Seller officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Hardwick was born December 8, 1943, and passed away September 23, 2024. 

Mr. Hardwick enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with friends and family. He worked many years plumbing for himself and the city of Monroe and loved his kitty, Patrick.

Mr. Hardwick is preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Hardwick; father, Ovin Hardwick; brother, Mac Hardwick; and wife, Betty Hardwick.

Survivors include his daughter, Paula Hardwick; son, Alton Hardwick, Jr.; sister, Gerry Binkley; and nephews, David, Terry, and Jay Huckabee.
