Funeral services for Allen Lynn Jones, Sr., 71, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 16, 2018, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Mr. Jones was born on July 13, 1946, in New Boston, TX, and passed away on February 13, 2018, in Monroe, LA. Allen loved to hunt and fish, and loved being a cowboy.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Lamon Limdbergh Jones and Doris Juanita Kilgore Jones; 2 sons, Darryl Jones and Allen Jones, Jr.; and sister, Clara LaCross Carpenter.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Rebecca Jarrell and husband Shelby, Kimberly Ivy Jones, and Cherryl Jones; brother, Larry Jones; grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Holly Jones, Ashley Thompson, Brittany Ross, Tony Ross, Aaron Thompson, Alex Thompson, Aden Jarrell, Shelby Marie Jarrell, Bryan Mitchell, Allen Mitchell, and David Mitchell; numerous great grandchildren; and nephews, Paul Jones and Larry Jones.

Pallbearers will be Shelby Jarrell, Paul Jarrell, Paul Jones, Aaron Thompson, Alex Thompson, and Tony Ross.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time Friday, February 16, 2018, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road.
