Allen Louis White

Funeral services for Allen Louis White, 74, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 19, 2018, at North Monroe Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Dye and Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Crossroads Cemetery, Crossett, AR. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at the church

Mr. White was born July 30, 1943, in Crossett, AR, and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a retired millwright from Georgia Pacific after 44 years of service. Mr. White was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church where he loved volunteering with the retirees on Mondays. He coached his sons in Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. His greatest love was his family, watching his grandchildren play ball, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Razorback fan. Mr. White served on the board of the Crossett Federal Credit Union for 25 years.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. White; mother, Callie White; and sister, Betty Tidwell.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Florence White; sons, Bradley White, M.D. (Toni) of Searcy, AR, and Mark White (Tracy) of Monroe; grandchildren, Morgan Lantzsch (Jared) of Springdale, AR, Carli White and Drake White of Searcy, AR, Jacob White, Kyle White, and Caleb White of Monroe; and brother-in-law, Jerry Morgan of Crossett, AR.

Pallbearers will be Drake White, Jacob White, Kyle White, Caleb White, Jared Lantzsch, Keith Carter, Chris Ferguson, and Robert Rush. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Linder, Doug Garner, Frank McMahan, Jerry Morgan, Bill White, Bobby White, Jimmy Goldman, and Roger Kinnison.

Memorials may be made to Daring Faith Building Fund at North Monroe Baptist Church.
