Allen Eugene Beebe

Mr. Allen Eugene Beebe of West Monroe went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at the age of 60.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haral Lee and Oneeda Whitfield Beebe.

He is survived by his wife, Patrice Beebe of West Monroe; his son, Quinon Lee Beebe and wife Melanie of Calhoun; his daughter, Laura Hayden and husband Jeff of West Monroe; his son, Caleb Beebe of Monroe; his son, Jeb Houston of Ruston, LA; and his “GumpSons”, Wally and Wesley Hayden; his sister, Rebecca Porter and husband Carlton of Monroe; his brother-in-law, David Elliott of West Monroe; and numerous other close family members.

Allen was born on August 24, 1957, in Hot Springs, Arkansas; he lived most of his adult life in Northeast Louisiana. Allen, “The Wood Doc”, loved bringing wood floors back to life, but more than that, he loved the Lord and his family. He was married to his love, Patrice Beebe for 17 years. They enjoyed every minute of the time they spent together, much of it serving in their church, Cypress Street Church of God. Many of his church family will remember Allen as a master problem solver. He loved figuring out every puzzle he came across. He treated every task with patience and precision, which also made him skilled in his craft. Some of his other joys in life included home and yard improvements, tools, board games, trivia and playing music.

Allen was a person who brought a smile to the face of every person he met and truly left the world a better place. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Pastor Neil Oldham will officiate services on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 4:00 P.M., at Cypress Street Church of God in West Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be prior to the service from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., on Thursday at the church, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
