Funeral services for Alice Marie Rainbolt, 81, of Mer Rouge, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 5, 2017, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Joanne Pounds officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery, Bastrop, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Miss Rainbolt was born January 23, 1936 and passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Mer Rouge, LA. Marie was like a child on earth and an angel in Heaven.
Miss Rainbolt was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Lee and Georgia Rainbolt; and brother, William David Rainbolt.
Survivors include her sister, Mattie Matlock; brothers, Earnest Rainbolt and wife Joyce, Jack Rainbolt and wife Jeanie, Gary D. Rainbolt and wife Wanda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Curtis Matlock, Michael Todd Rainbolt, Jamie Rainbolt, Michael Bulloch, Kenny McCaa and Jeremy McCaa. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy E. Matlock and Bobby Wayne Matlock.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time, Saturday, at the funeral home.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Oakwood Nursing Home and staff.
Memorials may be made to Oakwood Nursing Home, Mer Rouge, LA.
