Alice Marie “Queeny” Vaughn Martin

Memorial Services Celebrating the life of Mrs. Alice Marie Martin, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 27, 2017 at Family Church in West Monroe, LA with Pastor Michael O’Neal, Pastor Michael Stravato and Pastor Terry Taylor officiating.
Mrs. Martin was born on January 7, 1929 in Tillamook, OR to Warren Bentley and Alice Jennings Vaughn. She passed away on November 21, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Martin loved crocheting, cooking and especially loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Martin was very active in her church, teaching the Junior Boys Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, DeeWitt Martin; her daughter, Beth Roy; siblings, Pat Landis, Dorothy Boquist, Dee Edgar, Bill Vaughn and Buck Vaughn.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Fryer and husband, Gary; son-in-law, Marshall Roy; grandchildren, Caleb Fryer, Joshua Fryer and wife, Jennifer, Jared Fryer and wife, Jessica, Timmy Roy and Danny Roy; great grandchildren, Griffin, Hank, Evelyn, Chelsea, Gracie, and Hailey; great great grandchildren, Dexter and Emmylou ; special nieces, Elizabeth Landis and JoAnn Petty; along with numerous other nieces, and cousins.
