Alice Faye White Payne

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life on Mrs. Alice Faye White Payne, 77, of Choudrant, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery in Rocky Branch, LA.

Mrs. Payne was born on September 9, 1940 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on December 23, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. She was former owner of Tape City U.S.A along with her husband, James Howard Payne, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Payne was a LPN and then later went back to school and got her RN degree. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a witness for him. Mrs. Payne loved her cats, Simba and Nahla, her special babies. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Laura Ada Boles White; her son, James Byron Payne; and her sister, Wanda Sue Seward.

Survivors include her children, Cheryl Payne Walters (Keith), Kathy Ann Payne Watson, Rhonda Payne Colvin (Gary) and James Scott Payne (Judy); grandchildren, Brandy Doty (Brian), Beth Sims (Wesley), Kasey Walters, Jennifer Phillips (Danny), Cassidy Hall (Heath), Jarrod Colvin (Erica), Jacob Colvin (Hannah) and Jannon Colvin; great grandchildren, Zackary Sims, Dakotah Sims, Madison Barber, Kolton Phillips, Dani Payge Phillips, Landon Phillips, Tyler Phillips, Easton Hall, Carter James Hall, and Collyns Colvin; sister, Beverly Ann Hicks (David); along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Mrs. Payne’s grandsons and great grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Walters and Gary Colvin.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
