A Winnsboro High School graduate, a liberal arts graduate and an Alcorn State University RN graduate. Alice Faye lived a full and rewarding life, ranging from her arts and crafts creativity to the corporate world of Proctor and Gamble where she found her other passion working with geriatics in an array of nursing homes as a registered nurse or Director of Nursing. She often spoke of her “little people”, the name she gave her patients. These were more than patients, these were part of her extended family to whom she gave love openly and freely and tried to always leave them with a smile. She was a devoted mother and a doting grandmother and didn't even mind being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Dill and Alice McKinnon, her niece Monique LeBeaux Wilson, husbands Ray Prickett and Aubrey Roberts and grandson John Cassadaye Combest. Survived by sister and brother-in-law Sylvia and Leo LeBeaux of Winnsboro. Brother and sister-in-law John and Donna McKinnon of Las Vegas, Nevada. Son and daughter-in-law Jay and Renea Prickett of Monroe, LA. Daughter Mary Alice Prickett of Fort Necessity, LA. Two granddaughters MegAnne and Camille, two grandsons, Josias and Blake. Two great-grandchildren Trinton and Kaydence. Two Nieces, Yolanda and Erin, and one nephew Johnny and great-niece Dakota. Loving companion, Warnie Batey and son Ted, as well as many friends near and far.Services to be held at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA. Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro with burial to follow in South Central Cemetery in Wisner, LA.Pallbearers will be Ralph Gill, Ward Miller, Bunny McMurray, David Jones, Henry Roberts, and Devon Jones. Honory Pallbearers will be: Charlie Boy Roberts, R. G. Price, Tommy Hedrick, and Gerald Trohan.
