Adam Dewayne Parks

Funeral Services for Adam Dewayne Parks, 43, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 10, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Parks loved to hunt, fish, and play with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed rodeoing when he was younger and became a jack of all trades who loved tinkering with everything and good ole fashioned hard working. He was filled with laughter and happiness. There was never a dull moment around him. He was full of wisdom and stories to tell. Adam was always the loudest in the room and the center of attention, but he always offered a helping hand to others.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Paige Parks; granddaughter, Sicily Parks; all grandparents, June and John Parks, Eileen Parks, Lois Lorrin Mercer, and Burl Robert Mercer Sr.

Survivors include his sons, Austin Parks, and Landon Parks (Kelsey); fiancé, Katina Jackson; brothers, Michael Parks and Chris Parks; step brothers, David Bryant, Jamie Braddock; step sister,  Mandy Sharbono; father, Wayne Parks (Cathy); mother, Pat Parks; step children, Kayla Jackson, Lexi Jackson, Tristan Ratcliff, and Mark Ratcliff; grandchildren, Maverick Parks, Colten Parks, and Layton Parks; and step grandchildren, Kash Ginn, Kenlyn Ginn, Hudson Roberts, Kayden Strong, Ben Jackson, and Evelyn Ainsworth. As well as many numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ben Wilhite, Cliff Richardson, Nathan Wiley, Gary Henry, Chris Ponder, Richard Stevens, Dakota Parks, and Braxton Parks.

Honorary Pallbearer will be John Ponder.
