Aaron R. McCarty

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Aaron R. McCarty, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Waylon McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. McCarty was born on May 12, 1935 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away on June 7, 2022. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with his grandbabies. He also loved mowing his yard and jumping in the pool afterwards. Mr. McCarty is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Catherine McCarty; and his son, Bobby Joe McCarty.

Survivors include his children, Wayne McCarty and wife, Cheryl, Paul McCarty and Linda Spillers and husband, Keith; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest McCarty; and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until Service Time on Thursday.
