Service for Mrs. Lois Melrie Clement, 91 of Girard, LA will be 3 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. Daniel Hawthorne officiating with internment to follow in New Salem Cemetery Girard, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home – Rayville, LA.


 


Mrs. Clement, a retired Post Master of the Girard Post Office, was preceded in death by her


parents Jessie E. Fike and Nettie McGowen Fike, three brothers J. E. Fike, Terrell Fike and Walter G. “Bob” Fike.


 


She is survived by her husband Earl Clement of Girard, LA; a son Wiley Fike Clement


and his wife Bettye ; a daughter Dianne Clement Brady and her husband Ben all of Girard, LA; two grandsons, Jeffrey Brady and Christian Brady; three step grandchildren,


Paul Clark, Linda Russell and Amanda McMahan; six great grandchildren.


 


Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Brady, Christian Brady, Buddy Copeland, Billy White, Dewayne Clement and Larry McGowen


 


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.


 


Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time Sunday.
